This is a television-style Audio/Video script used for one of my "Coaches Show" interviews. This assignment and others like it in the course allowed me to develop and demonstrate the ability to write ​for video, audio and online channels, as well as show my ability to apply professional, media-industry standards and formatting in my writing.

This is a feature-story audio package about a Linfield study-abroad course. This specific package was my final project for the course. This assignment and the course as a whole helped me further develop both my storytelling and audio production skills to an advanced level.

JAMS 113 - Sports Media Practices: Game Recap

This is a brief game recap story, written in a public relations style. This assignment allowed me to practice the skill of writing for websites and programs in a concise fashion.

JAMS 275 - Information Gathering: Major Research Paper and Annotated Bibliography

This assignment is an in-depth research paper and an accompanying annotated bibliography on campaign finance issues in the U.S. and Oregon. In this course, the entire semester is dedicated to writing these works. This project let me develop the skills needed to conduct extensive research as well as enhancing my long-form writing ability and academic writing ability. 

JAMS 374 - Social Media Theory and Practice: Organizational Case Study

This is a brief essay analyzing the social media content strategies of the Portland Trailblazers based on their various social media accounts. This assignment allowed me to study what successful professional social media content looks like and understand why certain content is more attractive and engaging to followers than others.
